Her work informed the strategy for the final stages of Salem State’s 10,000 Reasons campaign, which raised $26.5 million on a $25 million goal, and laid the foundation for future campaigns.
Emily got her start in prospect research in 2008 when she joined Massachusetts General Hospital’s development office during its Third Century of MGH Medicine campaign. This endeavor, which had an initial goal of $1.5 billion, ultimately raised $1.72 billion. There, she oversaw the prospect development needs of five Campaign Centers of Excellence and established an initiative to leverage the full potential of the hospital’s global grateful patient community.
Emily graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Oxford. She has served as a Trustee of the Salem Academy Charter School and the Waring School, where she chaired their fundraising committees. Currently, she is a Director of the Salem Academy Charter School Foundation.
Ian and Emily are often supported by a team of independent associates who use their expertise to identify new major gift prospects and accurately assess their philanthropic potential.
