PROSPECT RESEARCH REPORTS
We offer a variety of reports designed to suit your prospect research needs. Our offerings range from facilitating screenings of large numbers of prospects to preparing comprehensive profiles on high-priority donors ahead of solicitations for major and principal gifts. We provide bios on attendees of cultivation events as well as prepare reports on foundations and corporations who wish to support charitable causes. Our different report formats are each designed to suit specific purposes, but we can also prepare research in a custom format upon request. We strive to provide clients with precisely the information they need to turn potential prospects to active donors.
Our product line includes:
GROUP REPORTS
Screenings: These computer-based reports are designed to quickly evaluate large numbers of prospects. Unique identifiers provided on each prospect are cross-referenced through multiple databases to help determine each prospect's gift capacity.
Appraisals: These cost-effective and quick-to-produce reports are often helpful for vetting the preliminary findings of a screening under the discerning eye of a human researcher.
Assessments: More thorough than Appraisals, these documents include concise investigations into each prospect's employment, charitable giving, and real estate holdings.
Bios: Optimal for gift officers preparing for a cultivation event, Bios offer succinct key details on attendees, including employment and background information for both the principal guest and their spouse.
INDIVIDUAL REPORTS
Briefings: One of our most commonly requested reports, Briefings are devised for prospects in the Qualification and early Cultivation stages of the solicitation cycle. In addition to including details found in simpler reports, they feature educational details, a chart summarizing the prospect's charitable interest, and a comprehensive list of a prospect's entire philanthropic history.
Memos: These flexible reports are ideal to suit the unique inquiries of each client. Consisting of a simple framework and billed on an hourly-basis, Memos are designed to answer questions posed by gift officers, ranging from a simple summary of a prospect's stock portfolio to an in-depth study of a high-net-worth individual's family tree.
Outlines: Designed for trustee nominations and other situations where financial details are best not disclosed, these thorough reports provide biographical histories and due diligence on an individual's background regardless of the prospect's wealth.
Profiles: Our most comprehensive standardized report for individuals. Each Profile provides a thorough examination of a prospect's career history, personal background, professional board affiliations, non-profit affiliations, charitable giving history, private foundation details (when applicable), confirmation of all public assets, and a capacity rating with a corresponding rating note.
ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTS
Studies: These reports examine public information about the philanthropic activities of foundations and charitably-active companies. Details may include, when confirmed, contact information, details regarding board members, the total assets of the organization, the total amount of grants made by the organization, as well as the organization's top grant recipients.
